I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Atlassian in Jan 2022
Interview
It was a three step process, beginning with submission of previous project. Since it was a campus placement, they didn't require previous experience. However, there was a clear preference for a psychology background. I only made it to the first interview round and wasn't shortlisted for the final one.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Atlassian (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2025
Interview
Interview cautiously, this was a huge waste of my time. Completed a phone screen, hiring manager interview, and portfolio presentation and portfolio interview which all went in my opinion and according to the recruiter. While waiting to hear about next steps, my recruiter was replaced. After several weeks I was told by the new recruiter that the team was going in a different direction even though my original recruiter had indicated I was an early and top candidate. Job was reposted a few weeks later.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Atlassian in Sep 2022
Interview
Only talked to the recruiter. She was really sweet however, she knew nothing of the team that I was interviewing for and so I was not able to talk specifically about certain skills that I had. She also never responded to my emails. Was informed that I would not move on to the next round within a week. Ditto to the person who said that things probably move at a glacial pace at this company.
There are 4 rounds. But after the initial screening expect a delay in next rounds. And you need to follow up multiple times. You also be prepared for sudden revoke of the vacancy and you get no information on it.
