I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Atlassian
Interview
HackerRank test (3 questions, 90 minutes), technical interview (one question that was easier than the HackerRank test) and a behavioral interview over about 4 weeks. During the behavioral interview I mostly talked about my projects. It was a surprisingly pleasant experience, I enjoyed working with both of my interviewers. The HackerRank test was fairly difficult, I only passed all the tests for one question, I had almost finished another, and there was one where I couldn't figure out a vital optimization technique at all. The technical interview question was much easier and it seemed like they were more intent on learning about my thought process for it.

Question 1
Tell us about a time something went wrong with one of your projects/assignments. What happened, and what would you differently in the future to avoid running into that issue again?
The process started with an online assessment (OA), which was reasonably balanced in difficulty. Candidates who passed were invited to a live coding interview conducted over Zoom with a software engineer. The interview focused on data structures and algorithms, with an emphasis on problem-solving approach, code clarity, and communication throughout the solution.
Technical round was very good, behavioural round was unprofessional. Interviewer showed up late, left call mid sentence, and did not seem to have any interest in the actual interview. Very robotic

Interview
OA is very standard, a couple random questions of easy - medium leetcode difficulty. Afterwards, there will be a technical that focuses on data structures and then a values interview.

For OA, just a bunch of leetcode questions - random for each person.
