Interview
The first step is an interview with a recruiter, then two pair programming tests and one design test. All tests look similar and their purpose is to filter the same type of candidates. After all the above steps, success in a behaviour interview will end up with an offer. The interview for me was a chance to work with three competent developers in Atlassian. The interesting point for me is technical debt and security which are critical for all software companies, weren't essential for them. That makes scene why Atlassian was behind its compactors for a long time. The second point, only one interviewer runs technical interviews and that person can exaggerate their feedback or easily don't make a note of your answers. I suggest Atlassian to 1- Assign two interviewers for each interview or record interviews to push interviewers to be more neutral. 2- Atlassian must see an interview as a marketing opportunity and choose people who present its brand. After three pair programming tests, I found many advantages in my current team over Atlassian. I wish my interviewers presents their company better. 3- Companies won't be successful without diversity

Question 1
The first and second technical interviews are coding challenges. You have to implement a method. Step by step, the interviewer asks you to support different requirements.
Interview was smooth. Technical round first then behavioral. Friendly interviewers. Technical round was a leetcode medium but they expected to be optimized to pass certain edge cases.Behavioral interview was prertty standard and was mainly about their company values.

Recruiter reached out to me then ghosted in the middle of trying to set up a meeting. Very disrespectful of my time. Just as well, how a company treats candidates is usually a good indicator of how they treat employees
Didnt get past OA, heard now has ai process. People are good but company is going downhill. Unfortunate for all good culture fits there s a lack of opportunity admist apex reviews to produce meaningful work.
