I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Atlassian (Sydney)
Interview
All interviewers were super friendly and casual - more companies should follow suit. Interview stages: 1. A four-question HackerRank assessment, which was quite difficult for someone with less coding and algorithmic knowledge. 2. A short phonecall where the interviewer gets to know you, they asked a lot about my schooling experiences and if I had used this knowledge for personal projects. It mostly seemed that they were checking to see if the candidate was personable. 3. A three-part interview to assess your values (if they align with the company), technical knowledge (how you would solve problems relating to the role) and coding skills. The coding question was very basic, and they asked me to solve the same question again, with a different approach.

Question 1
Explain the difference between hash and salted hash.
I can't remember the Leetcode question
Started off with a Online Assessment which then was followed up by a one hour Coding assessment, final round was a 60 min interview: first 45 min were behavioral and the last 15 were security related questions.
OA-Technical-Final Round, Was pretty good with the recruitment side. Smooth Interview Process with the technical round being super chill and laid back and I heard back in less than a week for an offer.
