My first phone screening was in December, and after some discussion of the company the HR person suggested they start the hiring process a month later, after a major deadline had passed.
A month later, no word. I re-applied in March, and nobody noticed I had already applied. This time, after another phone screen nearly identical to the first, I had an in-person interview. There was also a mandatory NDA, which has little to no teeth in this state.
The in-person was fairly easy, just a group conversation with two other devs, the COO, an ops guy and the project manager. Skype was used for some participants.
Very few technical questions, which were fairly easy, and a lot of cultural fit questions. At one point the killer app was demoed, leading to some awkward questions about how to gamify what is essentially a sales application.
After the interview, there was a short take-home project which took about 3 hours to finish.
