Interview
Very loose end. Usually has rounds of interviews for experienced personnel. Should be ready to expect multiple interview rounds. Mostly questions depending on the work you are applying for. Most probably interviewed by members of the project team you will be joining.
Expect HR round to be tough negotiation on salary. Expect to get lesser than the market rate. Syntel would rather get average resource on low rate than pay the top dollar for top talent

Hr round and offer was prity fast.
There were total 2 round .
1st was in person he has asked the practical question on the dw
Next round was telephonic on same day they asked the pure SQL question

Interview
It was a two face to face interviews. One with the Delivery head and other with HR. Background verification did not take long. Entire process was completed within 10 days. Since it was for a pilot project, they were expecting some standards to be brought into the team to achieve SLA
