Interview
I have seen that the interview process is fair and they ask not only technical questions but also soft skill related situational type questions.
However the way the project that this position is for particular project or position is wrong as anyone immediately after they hired is on bench and the PDAC or HR sends our resume to different verticles or sectors and if our resume is screened only then they call us for further interview process.
So there is no guarantee of getting good opportunity within syntel after we are hired. We need to wait or work in company for atleast 1 year to get onsite opportunity and also we need to stay or work with same manager or project or verticle for atleast1.5 years before moving to new opportunity and this way there can be politics if the manager is biased but can utilise us for work before releasing us or allowing us to consider for new opportunity within syntel and one may in such situation not grow so rapidly although they might be well deserved to go up the ladder.
Seondly they look for quanity and quality of person while hiring.

Hr round and offer was prity fast.

1st was in person he has asked the practical question on the dw
Next round was telephonic on same day they asked the pure SQL question

Interview
It was a two face to face interviews. One with the Delivery head and other with HR. Background verification did not take long. Entire process was completed within 10 days. Since it was for a pilot project, they were expecting some standards to be brought into the team to achieve SLA
