25 mins for 15 questions these 15 questions were basic aptitude qns i did 13 of those 15...... got 4 wrong(still i managed to clear this round) PRETTY LUCKY uhh?wait till u hear the rest ;) immediately after this 15 u get 5 questions frm c++(basic) #10 mins 4 these 5 qns #3 were to predict te output and 2 were to tell which statement was correct results came after a long wait of 3 hours..... from an approx of 300-400 students...150 was shortlisted... and i somehow managed to get my name printed on tat list... and then after te names were called out .they asked us to cme prepared te next day(for interviews and group discussions) ___________________ feb 16th- GROUP DISCUSSION- 15 groups of 10 students each were called out and GD round was already underway my group of 10 was guided into a new room .......and we were asked to tell our names.....and witin minutes te toppic was given to us.... "WHAT INDIA CAN LEARN FROM KERALA"..(30 SEC TO PREPARE) and guess what....... even before 15 sec had past.... i burst out wit te "GUDMORNIN FRENDS..............."and discussion was underway next topic was "SHUD FACEBOOK BE BANNED IN CAMPUS" this time i cudnt start....and after 5 mins this round was over.... results came after 5 mins and i cleared this round toooo... 4 or 5 were selected from each group.....so an approx of 60 to 70 was shortlisted. immediately after this we were gathered in a hall(te selected 70)and a 5 mins video was played(from pusuit of hapiness movie)and asked us to write wat we understood from te clip on a small piece of paper they gave us......(strictly :NOT SUMMARY) 20 were eliminated from this round....and te rest 50 was shortlisted 4 te remaining two interviews........ I STILL WONDER WAT I WROTE on TAT SMALL PIECE OF PAPER. i was there in te remaining 50 waiting to be slaughtered.... i had to wait for almost 2 hours before they called me.... and there i was finally sitting in front of the interviewer... 1ST INTERVIEW- even before i cud sit properly on te chair.... he shot me wit te 1st question #"TELL ME SMETIN NOT THERE IN TE RESUME" other questions he asked me were.... #"WAT ARE THE LEADERSHIP QUALITIES U HAVE?" #"GIVE AN INSTANCE WHERE U GOT TO EXHIBIT IT.." #"TELL ME ABOUT UR MINI PROJECT"(SCREWED ME ON THIS 4 20 MINS) #"UR RESUME TELLS U KNOW C+++ AND SQL...IS IT?" #"UR FAV SUBJECT" #"OK NOW LET ME C UR LOGICAL ABILITY......" (THE REAL GAME IS JUST STARTIN....) #"HERE IS A SEQUENCE...PREDICT TE NEXT NUMBER...." QN. 2 12 36 80 __? #"HOW CAN U PREDICT TE AMOUNT OF DATA FLOW IN A RAILWAY STATION? ( u can ask questions back...and he too will help u on ur answer........ he doesnt expect te ryt answer) #"IMAGINE A 100 FLOOR BUILDING..... AND U R GIVEN AN EGG THAT WILL START BREAKIN ONLY FROM A PARTICULAR FLOOR AND ABOVE.. HOW TO FIND THAT PARTICULAR FLOOR IN MIN NO.OF.STEPS...?" #"HOW MANY TENNIS BALLS CAN U FILL IN THIS ROOM" #"THERE ARE 10 GROUPS,EACH WITH 10 COINS.. ALL TE COINS ARE IDENTICAL TO EACH OTHER, EACH WEIGHING 1 GRAM. BUT ONE GROUP IS DEFECTIVE..i.e.. ALL TE COINS IN THAT GROUP HVE .1 GRAM LESS.U ARE GIVEN AN ELECTRONIC WEIGHING MACHINE,AND U ARE ALLOWED TO WEIGH THE COINS ONLY ONCE.HOW WILL U PROCEED?" after a gruelling session of almost 1 hour i was allowed to leave te room. he gave me a wicked smile... 2ND INTERVIEW-- and after 10 mins i was again called 4 te HR interview #tell me about urself #ur strength #ur weakness #y low marks in te last two sem? #tell me about ur main project? #tell me about ur mini project? #ur fav subject? #in ur aptitude test, how many do u think u got correct? (i said 12 outt of 13) #dont u think u r ovrconfident wen u tell ur strengt is maths? #u got 9 out of 13 and u barely passed the aptitude test.. wat do u think now? #any qns? went on 4 almost 20 mins
