Interview
I had two interviews. The first one was about fifteen minutes long. The manager asked me about my availability, auto parts knowledge, past work history ect.
Qs: "when was a time a customer was upset and you fixed the issue and made them happy.?"

A: rules are in place for a reason. I don't bend rules. That's not my decision. I'll leave it up to my manager. Never
Background check took about a week (I had to send mine twice because of a clerical error but once it was filed correctly, it took about ten days including the weekend to come back clear. My second interview was about ten min long and he just told me about the job description, double checked my availability and offered me $9.20 /hrly. Training was the following Tuesday for 8 hours.
Asked to come in to location and did a basic interview. Manager conducted interview and started the hiring process right away. Then had to do training for about a week. Sat at the computer for days completing training exams.

Applied Online got a call for the first interview, with the store manager. Couple days later got called for a second interview with District manager was told it was gonna be quick and easy. DM wanted to put a face to candidates for the position. Store manager made the final decision on who is hired.

Just basic questions like tell me about yourself, your experience, skills, and qualities. How would I upsell or recommend additional products to a customer? Friendly. Was offered a job and accepted at the end.
