I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AutoZone (New York, NY) in Jan 2020
Interview
The interview process at autozone is not something to be afraid of. You will only have one interview for this position. I applied to a store that was hiring and a friend of mine knew the manager so I got a call either the same day or the day after I applied. It may be different in another situation. If you don't get a call it is likely because they aren't hiring at the moment. I would suggest applying a second time after a week or two. They will see that you applied twice and will see you as a serious applicant. My manager had me start the first day that I was available.
