The interview process is a balance of general customer service questions and scenarios coupled with questions about your car knowledge. You may not need to be an aspiring automotive repair technician to get this job. However, it’s best to watch videos on how to install/remove a battery and windshield wipers. These things may be taught to you later on but it’s better to have a basic understanding beforehand.
