Applied for an Analyst position with the company. The recruiter really took her time to understand my background and to find out what I was looking for in my next role. She explained that the position I applied for wouldn't challenge me enough based on what she thought I was looking for but encouraged me to interview with the manager to see for myself. She also told me to keep an eye out for other openings and to reach out to her if there was a position I'd be interested in in the future. Definitely one of the most positive experiences I've had with recruiters. She seemed like she genuinely cared about me finding the position I was interested in as well as finding the perfect fit for the position she was recruiting for.
The process began with a recruiter screen, followed by a case study (take home exercise) that I reviewed with the hiring manager after being given 24 hours to complete it. Two behavioral interviews back to back concluded the process.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Autodesk (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2025
Interview
1. Talent Acquisition telephone screen
2. Hiring manager interview
3. Team interview
4. Senior management interview
2 months of interviews, after the final interview, which went well, I literally never heard from them again. Ghosted by an employer. Imagine if a prospective employee did that? First time to see that and very surprised to be honest! Not impressed.
