I applied on line and got a call from the recruiter right away wanting me to come for an on site interview. It was a 5 hour interview with 5 different technical staff. To my surprise, 2 out of the 5 have only a high school diploma and here they were interviewing a PHD from Stanford. I believe they felt intimidated by my credential. The recruiter followed up with me right away and wanted to set up another meeting with the founder and upper management. At this point, I declined.
