My recruitment experience with Avalara was quite disappointing. After a standard initial interview with HR, I underwent a psychometric assessment test, which I successfully completed with a very high score. However, I had to wait for six weeks before having an interview with the manager of a team for a different role I had applied for. (AM, I apply for BD). Unfortunately, this interview was marked by the manager's unpleasant attitude and evident lack of interest right from the start of the 20-minute video call. This experience raises concerns about the recruitment process management and the professionalism of some members of the recruitment team at Avalara.
