Interview
Case study where you get a feel for the role and they call you directly after to discuss what you did/didn’t do well. Very constructive feedback and you get a great feel for what your day to day would look like. You act like the interviewers are your clients and you present a case and then they ask questions and you respond.

Interview
Nach dem ersten Telefongespräch, in dem das generelle Interesse bestätigt wurde, wurde man zu einem persönlichen Vorstellungsgespräch eingeladen.
Das Gespräch mit einer Managerin war sehr nett und locker. Man wird gedutzt, nach der amerikanischen Gewohnheit. Die Managerin hat sich, auch die Firma, vor allem die Unternehmenskultur vorgestellt und nach Motivation, beruflichen Werdegang auch Hobbys der Kandidaten gefragt. Anscheinend legt die Firma viel Wert auf die Persönlichkeit der Kandidaten, sowohl auf der Arbeit als auch in der Freizeit, ob er oder sie zu dem Untermehenswert gut passt. Insgesamt hat es ca. eine Stunde gedaurt.
Die zweite Runde war mit zwei Manager und der Geschäftsfüherin, also drei Vorstellungsgespäche jeweils 45 Minuten. Da die zwei Manager aus unterschiedlichen Abteilungen kommen, bekommt der Kandidat aus diversen Perspektiven ein gesamtes Bild über den alltäglichen Arbeitsverlauf der Firma. Motivation und Werdegang wurden noch mal gefragt, und gezielt dieses Mal nach dem eigenen Arbeitstil und der Vorstellung über die beworbenden Arbeitsstelle. Die Vorstellungsgespräche wurden auf Englisch und Deutsch durchgeführt, je nachdem, ob der Interviewer Amerikaner oder Deutsche ist.

Interview
The interview process with Axiom was overall quite good. First was a brief phone screening from one of their recruiting team out of New York - very nice, asked many of the general first round questions. One thing I did like is that she gave me very honest and thoughtful feedback when I asked for it from her. Next I spoke with my manager, who is also a great guy - very energetic on the phone, and quite a different vibe than the first conversation. Next (I believe) I had yet another phone conversation with the first person, and scheduled an in-person interview with the Boston team. The in-person interview was fun, and it was good to meet my future teammates. I did get asked a lot of the same questions, but that tends to happen in all of the interview processes I've been through. I basically got a verbal offer as I was leaving the Boston office, and that was confirmed shortly thereafter by a phone call from the recruiter. No case studies, not too many super difficult questions - a lot of focus seemed to center around personal and cultural fit.
