Over the course of 7 weeks:

2. Interview with manager - 30 mins
3. In person interview at NY office (3 separate 1 on 1 interviews) - 30-45 mins each (about 2 hours total)
4. Interview with manager's manager - 30 mins

6. Final conversation with recruiter - 15-20 mins
While the interview process seemed long and, at the time, it felt like I interviewed with too many people, I realized after working at Axiom for a few months that this process really ensures that Axiom hires unbelievably talented, intelligent, and success-driven candidates. While any process could be made more efficient, this process definitely generates the desired outcome of hiring the right people for the right jobs and ensuring they'll be in a position in which they can succeed and excel. I'd much rather go through this interview process again and work with amazing colleagues than go through a shortened interview process and risk working with less-than-amazing colleagues...no question about it.
Interviews weren't too hard since I was very well prepared and felt confident that my skills and experience matched the position/roles/responsibilities that they were hiring for. Prior to my interviews, I read everything I could find about Axiom both on the company website and in the press. Not only did this allow me to understand the value proposition but it really gave me a great sense of the culture (very important at Axiom) before ever speaking with anyone at Axiom.
