I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BASF (Houston, TX) in Dec 2018
Interview
A BASF recruiter reached out via LinkedIn, he called me and we disucced the job description and salary expectations. After we agreed, he submitted me to the hiring manager. I had a phone/video interview first where I had to provide an example of a project I worked on. After that, I made it to the final step which was 3 "get to knows " with some stakeholders. These were very easy and conversational in nature. 2 were over the phone and one was in person at the Houston office. I received an offer shortly after and negotiated for a higher salary and sign on bonus which I then accepted.
