I had an interview a few days ago. It started on time, everybody was very friendly. Unfortunately, I got an impression nobody was interested in my job experience or professional skills. It was a pure behavioural Interview and 99% of the questions were related to conflict management abilities, that made me feel the team has a lot of problems and full of conflicts or something. Some of the questions seem to be so unprofessional. As an HR person I know it's important to ask this kind of questions, but it should be at least professional. I was asked something like: would you bring cookies to the team or you are not a team player? They also asked to support my examples with names. Everytime I told a story I was interrupted with a question: What was his/her name? Name? NAME? Like they wanted to catch me in a lie or something or like they were testing a new recruiting approach, that was a bit strange. This level of questions does not represent the interviewer (and a company in his/her face) as a professional at all. One more thing was weird, the interviewers were staring at my hands and fingers. It's important to read a "body language", but at least not SO noticeable)))))
At the end, I got only 4 minutes for my questions. It wasn't enough, but the time was over. So my general impression wasn't great, cos I expect from this company to be a high-level professional.
Everything else in terms of communications (two phone calls and emails) was very helpful, nice, friendly, etc.
