I had two phone screenings with different HR reps.
The first one was with Alli. The call went well and she said that she was going to forward my information to both of the people at the two different schools that had the same opening. I immediately got one automated request for a second interview, which I replied to. By the time a human responded to my availability for a second interview it was to tell me that the position had already been filled. I still have not heard back about the same position at the other school.
The other call was for a Curriculum Coordinator role at a third location. It went well until salary details got involved. Don't confuse BASIS' high level of support for its students with a a high level of support for your living conditions.
Overall, while the interview itself was undeniably easy, I came away with a bad taste in my mouth. If this is how BASIS treats prospective employees I understand why there are some incredibly polarized reviews that I've seen on this site and heard through the grapevine.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the BASIS.ed recruitment process. I assure you that your experience is not typical nor is it acceptable. I spoke with the recruitment team to gather more details of your experience and to determine what we could do to prevent any further experiences such as this from happening.
