I applied through linkedin for full time QA position at BDNA. I got mail from QA hiring manager that they want to have phone interview. Hiring manager had phone interview for 45 min. It was more technical on Java, Unix, SQL. Then after 5 days i got a call from HR/Recruiter of BDNA that they want to have F2F interview with me in their Mountain View, Office.
Its a small 1 floor office having around 50 people. First HR spoke to me for 20 min.
Then QA hiring manager interviewed me for 45 min. Mostly on SQL, Java, Unix.
Then 1 more person interviewed me for 45 min(on Phone). It was Friday. Interviewer was Remote. He asked me so many SQL's queries to write!
Then testing team mate who looked like almost fresher took interview for 30. He asked many Java programs to write.
And then last 1 more person interviewed me. It was behavioral.
I was tried of their long interview process. They don't use any testing tools. They write/create their own codes to automate. They don't use any defect tracking tool as well. Their QA process looked different for me as i have worked with large firms/clients and have used different tools for all testing activity.
I did not hear back from them. I knew i did not clear the interview as it was too technical for me. I was not interested either in that role.
