I applied online. I interviewed at BDO (Ipswich, England) in Feb 2015
Interview
The same as people described, the manager interview was very relaxed and informal, nothing particularly difficult was asked, you will pass if you really prepared those typical competences questions in advance. Remember the four values of BDO as they will ask.
The interview lasted about an hour and included a mix of motivational and job simulation questions. They asked about my skills, previous experiences, and specifically why I chose BDO instead of the Big 4 firms.
The interview process at BDO typically includes an online application, assessment tests, one or more interviews (often behavioral and technical), and may involve case studies or situational exercises to evaluate problem-solving skills.
It was an easy and smooth interview process with friendly interviewer who was knowledgeable. The assessment centre was also a good experience and all the rounds were very clearly explained to us and the group discussion topics were also interesting.
