I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at BECU (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2021
Interview
I was reached out to for an interview by a recruiter, after the call they asked me to formally apply to the role so they can get the process started. I went forward and went through the effort to apply and was immediately declined. If I wasn’t the right fit, fine, but to make someone go through the effort to apply and immediately decline? No decency to just say that you are moving forward with other candidates? It was a gross experience.
Thank you for making time to share your experience. This is not the type of candidate experience we strive for, and on behalf of our team I apologize. Our team uses feedback like yours to understand how we can improve our processes and candidate engagement. I'd welcome the opportunity to chat with you and learn more about your experience--my contact information is below; please feel free to give me a call.
