      The process consists of written responses, recorded 90-second video responses, and two Predictive Index Assessments (Behavioral and Cognitive). The Behavioral Assessment is untimed, but the Cognitive Assessment allows you only 12 minutes to try to answer 50 verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning questions. You receive a copy of your scores for the Behavioral Assessment, but not for the Cognitive Assessment. I made it all the way to the last step of the process (Cognitive Assessment) just to receive a rejection email 2-3 days later. I have ADHD, so sometimes, for me to fully understand the question I have to reread it and the answer choices a few times before I'm confident in my answer. I did not make it to the end or even halfway through the questions before the time was up. There were no accommodations available nor was there a place to request one. This test is a poor judgment of cognitive ability. In my work experiences, including past Virtual Assistant-type roles, I've been known & valued for my excellent problem-solving and logical skills, but this assessment apparently made them think I was not fit for the role as I received a rejection a few days later. This was a very disappointing and, in my opinion, unfair experience. At no point during the process do you have an actual virtual interview with someone from the company to discuss your skills and experience. I would not recommend this to anyone who is neurodivergent.

      Please write and upload a 5 paragraph mock email to your new BELAY client, Hunter. While Hunter is a fictional client, we ask that you use your real information. In the first paragraph briefly introduce yourself to your new BELAY client, Hunter. The second paragraph should include why you are excited to be a Virtual Assistant and how your direct experience or transferrable skills will make you successful in supporting Hunter. (No more than 5 sentences). For the third paragraph, include suggestions for task management tools that you and Hunter can work with to stay organized during your engagement. Please give Hunter two different options (bold the names of the tools) and the reasons you specifically selected them. Next, the fourth paragraph should detail your availability to Hunter, Monday through Friday during regular business hours, 9 am-5 pm. Also, list any prior commitments that you may have. (Use green font). Lastly, write a closing paragraph.

      The interview process was very professional, yet relatable. Their Talent Expert asked great intro questions about my interests, skills, background and what led me to apply for this role. She listened very intently and took notes. After exchanged questions, she explained the hiring process. BELAY has an entire Client Success team who's dedicated to matching the ideal candidate (VA) with their client and advocating for the VAs. Overall, the experience was pleasant. I was offered the role and gladly accepted. It can take time to find the right client, but if you want a remote role with room for growth, this is where you want to be.

      Easy process, the rep was fast and willing to negotiate salary. There is not an option to apply for higher paying VA roles. The overall organization model is inspiring. The organization corporate unfortunately is in person and not virtual.

      Belay process is tedious. The initial application is the biggest hurdle, it is a long process, with tests and video responses. Once you get past that you meet with someone for a zoom interview. That process was simple a communication to see if you fit what they are looking for.
