Interview
There were 3 steps. The shortlisting is very tough and they shortlist candidates with exceptional background only with foreign experience (Post Doc.) (At this moment as many people are applying). There will be a departmental interview followed by the final interview where minimum 8-10 people will be present including senior management.

Technical and as well as HR questions are common. As the experts are from IIT or IISC expect area-specific research questions.
1st round was a simple phone call where I had to present on my research, a course I would like to teach and my teaching and research plans. Easy questions

Interview
Two rounds. First will be the departmental level and asked to present research and teaching work. The second will be the Director level. There will be expert committee. This is very time specific and they would not let you speak outside the time bounds.

They have two rounds, first round is through skype. It will be at the campus level. Second one is in-person, with a panel consisting of external experts. Here, the interview will be largely technical
