The phone interview was conducted by the regional HR. She was quite professional and knowledgeable. She scheduled a 1:1 with the regional manager for 2 1/2 weeks after the phone interview. The regional manager was very business like and to the point. He asked about my experience and asked some situational questions. He explained that they were looking to hire managers with an understanding of the entire store. He was a little behind his schedule, so I felt rushed at the end of the interview. He concluded the interview by telling me that he had "a slew" of applicants to interview and reminded me to follow the email request that I had been sent prior to the interview to call the regional HR at the conclusion of the interview. I called the HR, although I am not sure what the purpose of that call was. She asked me how the interview was and asked me how the regional manager "left it with me". I never recieved any further communication from the company. I sent an email asking about my status and recieved an e mail response that another applicant was chosen.
