Received an email with a few screening questions about my availability, if I had any experience with upselling, what I like about HR, and if I was interested in any other open roles at the location. This was followed up with a screening phone call which was pretty basic. I was then scheduled for an in-person interview with the GM. This went well, and was also pretty basic. I received a text from the recruiter the next day stating the the GM was impressed and would like to have me interview with the regional HRBP. However, I was ghosted when I provided him with the times and dates I'd be able to have the virtual interview. No hard feelings because I did NOT want the job because the pay was VERY low and was not in line with the responsibilities. There is NO room for growth within HR in this role. I would have only accepted the role in order to have the HR experience on my resume, and would have been working on an exit plan from day one.
