I did a video interview with a recruiter and went through it. Then they sent me an exercise that I needed to complete and deliver. I really have something to say about companies that hide behind assessments for scouting well qualified candidates, asking them to invest a precious time of their personal lives. In this case, at least I received some elaborated feedback. But I felt the whole thing as a total waste of time since they did not make explicit what they were looking for. The exercise seemed a really operational one, but instead they wanted al the trends and the fancy words. They could be more concious when using other’s time.
