Human Resources Administrator contacted me by phone - for screen then set up interview on site, The job sounded wildly creative and HR wanted to hire me out of a job I had just accepted -so he made wild promises like six figure salary and VP level perks "for the right person." In the face to face I found it to be an entirely different role - an X managed company in constant "Crisis" mode with long hours and a sweat shop environment. It made me thankful for the role I do have and happy to remain with my present company for as long as they'll have me. It's as if HR and the Chief of Staff were speaking about two very different roles. BNY Mellon sounds like a horrible place to work, invest or even spend more than a second's time thinking about - that interview makes me shudder.
