Got a phone call from the recruitment team about a vacant recruitment position available & if I was interested in the position & could attend a Teams interview. Interview was straight forward enough with the recruitment manager asked about experience/background and why I was jnterested in the role & recruitment. Asked about if I had used ATS system before & what type of sourcing methods I use in my current role. Explained with in depth answer to both questions. At the end of the interview I asked two questions about the company & the employee programmes the recruitment manager did not have any knowledge about the company & gave a very short incorrect answer. Friday got a call to say I was offered the role declined based on a negative interview experience & said I would have accepted if the recruitment manager gave more than a short answer.
