The process was quick and easy. Had three interviews with separate individuals one at a time. Nothing Technical, more of a general position fit. Everyone seemed friendly enough to want to work with.
I had a single interview over teams with the hiring manager. The interview comprised mainly of series of competensy based questions on dealing with workload, project management, handling objections and dealing with senior staff.
It was slow, but fine. HR could have been a bit faster in getting back with their response. Rest was ok. Having a good knowledge.of the function is advantageous. I don't have anymore to say, as it has been several years now since I gave the interview.

2 interviews. Both sort of technical asking your projects your worked in past and related technology questions. The interviewers were good, listened to what you had to say. All in all good experience for me.
