BOLD English Content Writer interview questions

I got contacted quite quickly after I sent my application. I received a recruitment manual, which was very informative. The interview date was quite far away (1.5 weeks), which I spent preparing for the interview. The interview got canceled an hour before it was supposed to happen, with the information somebody had already been hired for the position. I understand this could have happened, but I regret not having a chance even to present myself after I spent time preparing for it. I felt it was very unprofessional.
