I was contacted via two social networks by different members of the team. The position is very technical/specific and in the area they were searching for, the pool talent is narrow so it made sense for them to scout. They were very friendly and just said they had an opportunity I might be interested in. I had been working on my own for two years, and had many interviews/offers, but wasn't ready to let go of the perks of being my own boss unless it was for the right company. I went to the interview without any expectations, but was impressed by their company culture. Everyone was friendly, happy and seemed to really be top-talent in their areas. I decided to just be myself (as usual!) and to let them figure out if I was a right fit not only professionally, but culturally. Turns out I was!
