I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at BRAIN CORP in Apr 2025
Interview
The first round was a technical programming round for one hour. Then I was asked to come in for on-site. Went through some 5 rounds of technical discussions all of which went well. Although the topics were scattered all over the place. Then got feedback a week later that they were looking for someone with more experience in a specific field that was not even mentioned in their JD. Strange interview experience!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BRAIN CORP (New York, NY)
Interview
The team sent me a coding interview which took a few hours to complete and clean up. There was no recruiter call, briefing about the hiring process.
I uploaded the code to their server within a few days and had close to 100% accuracy on the task. They didn't get back to me for almost three weeks and then sent a mail requesting me to send it again as they couldn't "find" it. Then, proceeded to send a generic rejection and ghosted me when I asked for feedback.
Given the Glassdoor reviews about Brain Corp, I think their objective is to sample free solutions from potential hires. Adding on to the other reviews, beware of this company and proceed with caution. Not only are they slow, unclear and unresponsive, but they also expect you to invest time into their poorly designed hiring process and give no feedback in return.
