After a Skype interview, I was invited for a long day on-site, including a presentation to ~20 people and at least a half dozen 1:1 and 1:2 meetings.
One of the interviewers was well-prepared and put me through a standard tech interview (write some code on the board, talk about algorithms and their space/time complexity, etc). The rest were bizarre. I was asked "to explain python language" (with no elaboration), the precise syntax strange C++ constructs, and quizzed on random brain "facts", mostly about the eyeball. There were a few things that I definitely did not know, but most of the time I couldn't even figure out what was being asked.
No one would tell me what they were working on ("We're under NDA") or what I would be working on and everything just felt very...aggressive.
