Short call to discuss the position, my experience, and what the role would entail. Afterward, a take-home challenge was given with a 1 week deadline. They got back to me around a week after submission, and I was told that my solution "wasn't a match" with no details.
Honestly, I find it a little rude to expect applicants to spend unpaid time creating a solution and then give no feedback on why it wasn't a match. If it didn't seem like such a remarkably inefficient process, I'd suspect they were just doing it to collect code/solutions from applicants rather than actually looking to hire.
