I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BSI (Columbus, OH) in Aug 2023
Interview
Two phone interviews, one with a recruiter and one with the manager who oversees this region. Sadly, the job was no longer needed, but my next step was a panel interview and if all went well it would move on to being introduced to onsite manager and a plant tour.

Question 1
Why I wanted to work for BSI and why I felt it was a good fit for me and for them.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BSI (Austin, TX) in May 2022
Interview
Applied online via LinkedIn and heard back from a recruiter from BSI about a week later. We had a phone interview and she was very much aware about the company and the questions I had. Really enjoyed the initial chat and she informed me the hiring manager would schedule a web meeting a week later if he liked what transpired from the first interview. That second interview was my issue. The recruiter sent all my info, including resume and linkedin details so the hiring manager is well aware of my qualifications and full 360 degree idea of me as a person. He straight up told me "I dont think you're qualified for this position." Being that it was a web interview I could see how unimpressed he was with me. So I let him know xyz of why I would be a good fit, but if he wanted to send my info to another department that would be also brilliant. I could tell he either didn't care to fully look at my information, or he just wanted to add more people on the list to interview. Mind you, BSI has been a company I have been wanting to work for since 2017. This experience turned me off, especially since this hiring manager would be who I would "report" to.
HR - Tech interview - Group interview. I was asked to give a presentation on why I chose this industry and this position. The interview process took about a week.
