I had a call with the team, and the interview itself went very well. The conversation with the panel was fantastic, and all questions were experience-based. I was able to answer everything they asked, and the discussion felt productive and positive. However, the feedback I received afterward didn’t seem aligned with how the interview went. The reason given for not moving forward did not match the expectations or the role discussed during the interview. It felt like the position may have already been filled, and the interview process continued regardless. This left the impression that the evaluation wasn’t fully based on my actual skill set or the responses I provided during the interview.
