I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Backbase (Amsterdam) in Mar 2018
Interview
The interview had many steps, first initial skype interview about the fundamentals, then a coding assignment, following the coding assignment a code review and technical interview with two devs, following that another interview with development manager. Then a day on-site with multiple groups technical and managerial.
The process is well structured, HR is very responsive and people you meet on interviews are very friendly and quite good at interviewing.
There was no question that the interviewers wanted to catch you off guard, questions were moderate, the tone was conversation rather than an interrogation.
Overall had a pleasant experience.
