Overall the process was good - five interviews in total:
The initial interview was with the Recruiting department and my perception was that this was as much for me to ask questions and confirm my interest as it was for them to qualify me as a legitimate candidate.
Following that the next two were with the regional VP and (whom the role would report to) and the EVP (global head of the department). Both interviews were focused on my background and experience and both interviewers very direct and transparent (in the positive sense). They also allowed me to ask lots of questions to help me qualify the opportunity from my side.
The fourth interview was with a peer from theTechnology team who would be a partner to this role.
And the final interview was... intense (not in a bad way). It was a case study with several of the people I'd already met plus a few more and included me taking a week to prepare for my presentation.
Despite the number of interviews the process happened fairly quickly and the Recruiting team kept me well informed during the process so I never had to worry about where I stood.
