Question 1
Final interview involved a series of presentations I made as a candidate to a team at Backbase.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Backbase (Boise, ID) in Jan 2023
Interview
It was a bit disorganized from the start. When I was given a presentation to do, they were supposed to help me prepare an outline. The person assigned to me was never available, and when e finally called back, he was leaving on a plane with 1 minute to talk. When the presentation started, they were rude and over-talked me several times and they used Google Meet. The meeting platform was having issues and video was being delayed to connections lost. 5 minutes in they said it was good enough. They then berated me on what I said to how I looked on Camera. I am highly experienced and it was as if they where practicing on interviews and very uprofessional. They knew little about FIs and only software sales. They didn't value any of my past experience and were clueless about FI terms used in banking and Credit Unions. Any FI will know these guys are clueless if you don't speak their industry language.
