I was asked to create/present a case study using the documentation sent by the recruiter. The documentation did not provide clear instructions on what was required or expected. To address this, I met with one of the leaders from the hiring team. The leader wasn't aware of all the information included in the documentation. After presenting the case study to a group, I asked the recruiter for feedback since I hadn't received an update on next steps. When the recruiter reached out, I was asked to meet with a different leader. This leader was not included in the case-presentation meeting and requested that I prepare a project plan. The project plan was not listed as part of the interview process. It felt like this new requirement was requested because the leader wasn't satisfied with the case study, but he failed to communicate why I was asked to complete it. Before meeting with the new leader, I met with the recruiter, and she didn't know why I was being asked to do more than what was normally required. She appeared frustrated by the extra steps added to the process and noted that the request was not the standard.
