I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Backstop Solutions (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2014

Interview

There was a written test for which I was given an hour. I did not finish within the allotted time. Two interviewers came in to interview me about questions related to Java and computer related, which I did not know. I had previous experience in customer relations but not in technology field so I did not do well.

Thanks for the insight. Internal transfers and promotions are pretty commonplace around here so we do try to evaluate technical capabilities and aspirations during customer relations interviews. Our biggest take away is that because it was a positive experience and 4 years after the fact that we made a lasting impression.
