2 interviews with Principals and 2 with Partners. Typical case interview format with the first 15 minutes dedicated to fit questions and ~40 minutes to solve a business case. First round interviewers were nice, but the final round with one of the partners was the WORST interview experience ever - and I've had interviews for banking (Goldman, JPM, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche, BAML, etc), consulting (BCG, Strategy &, OC&C) and finance roles in tech (Amazon, Uber).
The interviewer got into the room, slouched on his chair, introduced himself almost whispering and without making any eye contact, then turned to me with an aggressive stance and asked: "And what are you doing here?" And that was the start of the interview - the partner then spent the remaining 50 minutes or so making paper planes, interrupting me abruptly to remind me that I didn't have much time left, and attacking my assumptions with belittling remarks. "You didn't think of this because you're not an engineer" repeated with a malicious grin. I have had stress interviews before, but this one was borderline derisive, and totally changed my perception of the company. If this sort of interviews are meant to replicate the stress level that one may encounter on the job, then I am glad I didn't get into this toxic environment.
