First was a phone interview, which was pretty straightforward. A lot of talk about my experiences, preferences, and about what the company does. It mostly seemed to be about pairing your interests with specific divisions within the company. Afterwards, I was flown out to interview with their staff at the Boulder campus. This included a tour of the facility and several interviews ranging from senior staff to lower-level employees. A lot of repeated questions about your experiences. It's a really good chance to learn more about the company culture and specifics about the role. This lasts about 6 hours, including an informal lunch with an employee. They were very communicative up until the in-person interview, then they went silent. It took several follow-up emails a few weeks later to find out that they went with another candidate. Everything about the interview process was smooth up until that point, though, and I'm sure I would have taken an offer had it been given.
