The Ball Aerospace interview process was organized and efficient leading up to the interview. I was given clear directions on getting to the interview, and the recruiter organized a call to discuss the position as described in the job posting.
However, when I arrived at the interview, it was clear the job posting description did not align with the expectations of the hiring manager. There were critical aspects of the role (i.e. scrum/agile practices, cleared work area) that were not in the job description. Similarly, there were responsibilities in the job description that the hiring manager made clear were not a part of the role. With so many discrepancies, it became difficult to understand what role I was interviewing for. I did not point this out to the hiring manager because I did not feel comfortable pointing out the errors. This disorganization in role definition has left me less than impressed with Ball Aerospace.
