I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bandwidth (Cary, NC) in Oct 2009
Interview
Was contacted by an HR representative who scheduled an initial phone screening. The call was pleasant, basic. At the end, she asked for my salary requirements, but thankfully, she gave me their range ($40,000 to 70,000), beforehand. After that, I was contacted by the director of the department -- this is the person who would be making the hiring decision. We had a phone interview. The call went well. Typical questions -- current job responsibilities, industry knowledge, strengths, etc. That call then ended with him saying that I would hear back from them the following week and that they would be bringing people into the office for in-person interviews. It sounded optimistic, but I was never contacted again nor was I ever notified that they went "in a different direction."
With regard to my impression of the office culture -- it seemed to have a young, 30-something vibe. Creative and slightly laid back.
