Really unorganized. I received a phone call to come in for an interview a day or two after applying online. It was a really "easy" interview with the manager at the location I wanted to work at and I thought it went well. She said the next step was just a phone interview with her "hiring partner" (manager at another location) and then they would decide if they want to bring me in for shadowing to see if it is something I would like to do. I was told to expect a call from her partner, which never came.
Instead the original manager I had interviewed with called me back and set up another in-person interview with a different manager at a location even farther away (30+ min). A little excessive for a part-time position that does not even require a degree... But I sucked it up and went with it. This manager was kind of snippy and asking very personal questions about my previous job (getting into financials). Needless to say, after expressing reluctance to get into details like that, I received a call about 5 days later saying they pursued other candidates.
Ended up working out for me in the end, as I got a job at a local animal hospital way closer to home!

Easy interview with friendly staff! It took place in the break room with the hospital manager and a shift lead. It felt more like a conversation than a typical interview. The questions weren’t hard to answer and felt very relevant to the position.

Interview
First interview was with the practice manager and then with one of the doctors, the interview were straight forward. They want some sort of experience either related to working with animals or front desk/receptionist work experience. If you have neither they are willing to work with you so long as you have a cheerful demeanor and a "positive can-do" (which will fizzle away slowly with time trust me). The pay is not great, they will low ball you so be firm with what you want but also if you ask for too much they will pass. They have zero problem letting their current team suffer short-staffed indefinitely until they find someone they want for the role.
