spoke with HR on the phone then, I met with the Dept Head and two mgrs. the interview went well, but when HR called to offer me the salary, she did not send a written offer. It looked like there was a room for negotiation. She was very nice through it all, but for some reason, the mgr was either on the other line, or I was placed on speaker phone without knowing the dept mgr was there. I heard him yell out no when the HR seemed to want to be more flexible. I thought this was totally inappropriate.
