I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America in Jul 2009
Interview
Applied online and I passed the general requirements, there after took a hour long personality test that gauged how I would act in differant situations. Waited three weeks before a HRspecialist contacted me with a group panel interview. She forward me emails that contained a release of a background check and I had to provide detailed information about myself, education, work, and address from the past 5-10 years. Had to fax the signed authorization form back to Corporate Secuity within 24 hours. Went on the panel interview waited for about a 45 mins for the group before us to finish. There were several other individuals present for the interview all of which had no experience wit panel interviews. All had sales and banking experience. We chatted and got to know one another until it was our turn. There were 2 branch managers and 1 market leader conducting the interview. Asked several questions, all candidates had a chance to respond.

Question 1
When was a time when you provided "wow" customer service?
I went through 3 rounds of interviews. Not very hard. The recruiters were very friendly. And the benefits were very good. This is a good job for anyone who wants to set foot in the banking industry.
Online application for this job I was not very prepared for it as it is not my main field but wanted to try to change careers and I thought it would be an opportunity to work on my communication skills
Very upfront with open ended questions. Had to do a mock phone call in front of the hiring manager and another representative. It was a little intimidating but I survived.
