      Operations Intern Interview

      Jun 20, 2010
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America in Mar 2010

      Interview

After submitting a resume through an online system, I was emailed in order to set-up a phone screen. This phone screen was approximately 30 minutes long, and consisted of the common behavioral interview questions. By knowing the information on your resume and concisely being able to answer questions in STAR format, it shouldn't be difficult to get through this interview. The final round was at corporate HQ in Charlotte. Travel to the site and accommodations were covered by the company. The group interview day consisted of an evening networking session, followed by a series of interviews the next day. There were 3 back to back interviews held with various senior managers. Each interview was 30 minutes are were very similar to the phone screen questions. There was a standard set of questions that the interviewer needed to get through, and then there was time set aside for Q&A.

      Operations Intern Interview

      May 16, 2011
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Charlotte, NC
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (Charlotte, NC) in Feb 2011

      Interview

This was a two step interview process. The first was an on-campus 30-min interview with HR representatives, and if you advanced to the next round you were flown to the BOA headquarters in Charlotte, NC for the final round. The final round consisted of a networking and information reception the night before, followed by 3 30-min interviews the next day with different BOA employees, all from a range of different departments. The interviews themselves are fairly straight forward however the number of candidates that they were looking to hire was relatively low. There also did not seem to be any key characteristics or traits that they were looking for as people who did receive offers were all very different. As for the logistics of your interview, it is very difficult to get in touch with the right people regarding things such as travel or reimbursement. For a company this large you would think that people would have there act together and respond to emails.

      Interview questions [2]

Describe in time when you overcame a challenge.
      Answer question

      Question 2

Describe a time in which you worked in a team.
